Although the trails shown are primarily walks, if you take your bike, the forestry commission are happy for you to make up your own route using the many forest roads although they also ask you ride with consideration, slowing down for both walkers and horse riders.  And after a busy day exploring the woods, relax in the picnic area down by the river - you can even cook up a feast on one of the BBQs which are free to use!
